A.T. Bioenergy Power Plant, Thailand

A.T. Biopower Co. Ltd. intends to construct four identical power plants in Pichit, Nakhon Sawan, Singburi and Nakhon Pathom. With a power production capacity of approximately 22 MWe (gross), each the Power Plant shall comprise of one power block consisting of one biomass-fired boiler, a single condensing steam turbine and a generator, and all necessary auxiliary equipment associated with this type of plant. The Power Plant is required to utilize the available rice husk supplied by A.T. Biopower Co. Ltd. as fuel, and will supply power to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) under EGAT's SPP Contract Small Power Producer (SPP) Program. The major investors of A.T. Biopower are Rolls Royce Power Ventures, a subsidiary of Rolls Royce PLC., Al Tayyar Energy, a Dubai-based renewable energy equity fund, and Flagship Asia Co. Ltd., a Labuan-based (Malaysia) renewable energy development company.
