Finite Element Analyses
The objective in hydro-mechanical engineering is to use design models, which represent reality as closely as possible. This calls for sophisticated design methods and tools. Today, the elements of gates and penstocks have to be verified and optimised by static, dynamic, linear and/or non-linear finite element analyses.
