Maintenance, Material and Lifetime Management
Electrowatt-Ekono Oy provides its clients not only in the power industry but also in the pulp and paper industry globally with the following services:
- Material failure and repair analyses (on boilers, digesters, tanks, piping, etc.)
- Status inspection and life assessment both on single equipment and on whole process lines
- Quality inspection on welds (especially on duplex welds)
- Material selection on metals and ceramic materials
- Tailor-made courses in material technology, corrosion and/or maintenance
- Assessment of processes at higher temperatures; not only temperature resistance of the material is evaluated but also the chemical thermodynamics of the system. This means that the fate of trace elements or of ash components can be estimated as well as their impact on steels and refractory at higher temperatures.
